LABARD – Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled is a non–profit, independent and non – governmental organization patronized by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and having the LCCI President as its Chief Patron. Our main purpose is to rehabilitate the disabled persons and help them lead an independent life.

We have established two vocational Training Centers at New Muslim Town and Tulbagh in Lahore, with the capacity to train almost 450 people at a time. We offer 14 trades in which disabled persons can be trained (For details of trades, visit our website www.labard.com.pk). After the successful completion of training, our placement officers also arrange the employment for the disabled through contacting various industrial and commercial sectors.

Educational Assistance

Educational Assistance ABARD is also providing free educational and medical assistance to the deserving disabled persons. There are many students with disability who cannot afford to pay the fees of expensive educational institutions. We don't let the financial barriers hinder the student's resolve to get education. We always help progressive and talented young people who don t let the disability affect their passion to pursue their dreams and hence educate themselves to become professionals. Hundreds of students secured educational assistance from LABARD and became doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants etc.
