Our Vision

LABARD envisions a society where disabled and abled are treated alike, where both have equal opportunities. There exists several societal barriers in our country which are needed to be eradicated. We have helped thousands of people standing on their feet and vow to continue our efforts for the betterment of the disabled. Apart from providing the vocational training to the disabled and helping them through other channels explained in ‘how we help’ section, LABARD is carrying out the following tasks accordingly with its vision to ensure the better delivery of services to the physically challenged.
Advocacy for effective legislation regarding the disabled so that their grievances are addressed and they get the protection of law. There is no doubt about the fact that Pakistan seriously lacks the sort of legislation which could contribute towards providing a quality life to the disabled.
