LABARD – Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled is a non–profit, independent and non – governmental organization patronized by the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) and having the LCCI President as its Chief Patron. Our main purpose is to rehabilitate the disabled persons and help them lead an independent life.

We have established two vocational Training Centers at New Muslim Town and Tulbagh in Lahore, with the capacity to train almost 450 people at a time. We offer 14 trades in which disabled persons can be trained (For details of trades, visit our website After the successful completion of training, our placement officers also arrange the employment for the disabled through contacting various industrial and commercial sectors.

Success Stories

International Day for Persons with Disabilities, 3rd December, 2016 by LABARD. In Lahore LABARD-Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled and GET-Ghazali Education Trust joined hands to celebrate International Day for Persons with Disabilities at Liberty Round About on December 03, 2016. Hundreds of disabled persons were gathered to celebrate the day and made a Friendship-Circle by holding hands to give the message of Love, Peace and Friendship. The Chief Guest and Member of National Assembly Hon’able Ms. Shaista Pervaiz Malik reiterated the fact that a lot of efforts are needed to be done for the course of disabled persons. She focused on three important issues viz. accessibility, inclusiveness and compliance with the job quota fixed for the disabled persons. She also distributed gifts among the disabled persons. Mr. Pervaiz Malik, Member Notional Assembly and President of LABARD stressed on the need to create realization among general public regarding the menace of disability. Mr. Saeed Khan, General Secretory LABARD thanked oil the participants and ensured that events like these to raise awareness will continue in future as well inshallah. Many dignitaries including politicians, media personnel actors, members of civil society and different NGOs were gathered at the venue to make this event a Success.
